Personality & Physical Description: 
Standing at six feet and four inches, he is serious, aloof and observant, a trait he developed from his former job. Despite his dark looks -- slightly long black hair barely reaching the base of his neck, deep black eyes hidden behind lightly tinted UV glasses, fair complexion. He seems to always have his gazes narrowed and glaring, adding to this dark demeanor, when in fact he's just squinting his eyes from the glare of the sun. He's somewhat sensitive to brightness as his ability is the counterpart to it.
By nature, he's inquisitive, mature, and good-humored. He can get along with anyone unless his outer image hasn't scared them off, then he's one of the 'good' guys.
He has been dragged along by either Kurtis Rosa or Dr. Celis Enkil to imbibe in their many drinking parties with Francine Rosa. His drunken state is never obvious, none knows into which bottle is his limit as he just clams up, excuses himself and they'll find him sleeping.
Even inside the class, he's always in long overcoats or long vests that keep his feet in shadows. He rarely wears accessories except for his UV glasses, wristwatch, and a silver necklace with a lizard pendant hidden within his clothes. His clothing composes merely of shirts, sweaters, turtlenecks, jeans, slacks, leather shoes, rubber shoes, etc. Anything a regular guy would need without getting fancy.

 History: 
A police instructor in his regular life until a mission went awry and triggered his change to the shock of his co-workers and suspects alike who where there to witness his acceleration with bullets flying everywhere and all managing to pass through him... or the dark blur that resembled him. They didn't know how to treat him after that incident.
Not a day had gone by since his acceleration and he still in a state of confusion did his wife learned of it and promptly asked for a divorce,  a request he granted without argument and she moved out immediately.
Rather than cause disorder in his precinct, he decided to resign just as the government came for him. Instead of registering into HADES, the government deemed it unnecessary as he had prior training to being a police official and instead put him to immediate work monitoring fellow Accels, Alters and Verifiers put under his surveillance. If they get out of hand it was his responsibility to take them in.
Accelerators under his watch are Sword Play, Lizard, and some others within and outside the academy. As a cover, he is registered as an instructor at HADES. Added to his workload is also Lizard's regular maintenance whenever Dr. Enkil is still inebriated or with a hangover.
He has first known of Lizard when she was still under treatment (where she was being altered) as one of the many subjects added to his watch. In some of her occasional conscious states, he would visit her ward to check on her condition. It was in one of these visits where he got his lizard necklace, personally given by its namesake. They showed good compatibility in their performance in several tests that they were later delegated as work partners.

None living, except for ex-wife who no refuse to have anything to do with him.

Special Abilities:
Shadow Manipulation - the ability to manipulate shadows at will. Shadows he can manipulate are those that are naturally created, or those that he can create.

• Stealth use - use as a cover; to literally hide within the shadows; to erase his physical presence by disappearing into the shadows.
• Purge - shadow rises, wraps around target and squeezes... leaves a bloody mess.
• Submerge - swallows target or a group of targets with their own shadows, like jaws rising from the ground to gulp them down. Similar to transferring himself, but he just never releases them. 2 minutes tops and whoever he has caught in his shadows simply vanish.
• Body transfer - to move himself to another location by simply merging into shadows and emerging from another shaded area.
• Body suit - wraps designated target in shadows like a protective suit, giving wearer the ability to hide in shadows and absorb attacks... literally. This technique he rarely uses on himself.

• A chaotic housekeeper, he can easily mess up a well-organized room in a matter of minutes and often wonders how it happened without his noticing
