PERSONALITY:

Masahiro is everyone's "grandpa" who loves and sees the best in every individual. He is a good judge of character as he can easily read people even his grandchild, Ami though he doesn't make it obvious; and uses his kindness and grandfatherly charm to get to them, making him a great person to confide to about almost anything. He is understanding, optimistic and smiles every time to everyone even if at times its inappropriate. He exhibits and shares his wisdom to anyone who needs it which he undoubtedly gained from years of experience. He dearly loves above all his wife, Aiko and his granddaughter. In classes, he implements fair rule and judgment in handling all of his students. He will never hold back in failing a student if he believes he deserves it. He deals every rudeness and misbehavior with a kind and wise word as sharp as a double-edged sword. He is not into violence but loves watching a great duel. He loves his swords and is often seen talking with them. He always love a good chat and youth always fascinates him. He doesn't engage in any fight.

HISTORY:

He came from a descendant of sword smiths being his ancestors in his father's side Chinese while his mother's side, Japanese that served royalties dating back from the earliest Heian (Koto) to the modern Taisho (Gendai) Era.

FAMILY:

Masahiro fell in love, eloped and married the daughter of a wealthy and head of a major conglomerate in Japan. Together with his wife, Aiko, they migrated to Italy and lived in a happy, contented and simple life although they were not given the chance to have a child but later were blessed with a grandchild whom they found and adopted.

Special Abilities: Give him any scraps of metal, tin can, rusted razors, galvanized iron sheets, etc. and he'll craft it into a fine double or single-edged sword, a dagger, scythe and every bladed weapon you can imagine. He specializes in the art of forging, engraving and crafting any kinds of swords especially Japanese ones and all bladed weapons, its mountings and the tsuba (scabbard).

Don't let his age fool you. He is quite strong and fast for his age and it is expected that he will live past a hundred with the kind of lifestyle he has. He is knowledgeable about anything pertaining to swords and bladed weapons including the etiquette, techniques and the ways of a samurai and a ninja.
