NPC #18: The Librarian

Name: Tsukime Parthenopaeus-Heap
 Age: 22
Classification: Verifier
Birthdate: October 18
Birthplace: Mt. Olympus, Greece

Physical Description:
Bright red hair, grey eyes with flecks of silver, 5'3" in height, fair-skinned, not too slim, not too chubby, clothing depends on her mood, can speak Greek and English

Personality:
Addicted to books; hates frogs; has a tendency to exaggerate; looks dazed most of the time except when watching / looking at her husband and when insulting Lance; gets distracted easily; despises video/computer/logic games; thinks Lance is a loser. He is. Professor Creed is her best friend… sort of.

History:
Yes, she was born on top of Mt. Olympus. Literally. Her parents are Guiness geeks and wanted to have their names on the book so they ventured to the historical mountain while her mom was pregnant with her. They succeeded in giving birth to a healthy baby girl but unfortunately died due to cold and exhaustion. Tsukime’s father, in his shock, slipped and fell down the mountain. The Guiness people took Tsukime with them and placed her parents’ name in the book but withheld the money. They put Tsukime in an orphanage.

When she was 5 years old, a man named Shinteki kidnapped her. He brought her to a very cold country, into what looked like a laboratory. He told Tsukime nothing but made her wear a straight jacket and put her inside a padded cell. They rarely fed her and many times she cried herself to sleep.

One day, they put a dark-haired boy inside her room and removed her straight jacket. She was glad she was free but was curious as to who the boy was. She asked his name and he said Vincent. They became friends since then. He was kind and polite and very nice, despite the Darkness that was constantly covering him. There was also another boy, about thirteen years old, who was looking at them through the window. He never talked to them and Tsukime was a bit annoyed at him because of that.

They took Vincent away after two days with her. Somehow, she could feel that they were disappointed at her. They then started putting different kids inside the room with her. They were all very aggressive and Tsukime was forced to defend herself. Even in the orphanage, most of the older kids hurt her either because of her strange eyes or her strange hair. They almost always lost and most of them had to be brought to the hospital. She didn’t know it then but her instinct always guided her where to hit her opponent so as to incapacitate them. The kids were no different and they exited her room in less than five minutes with Tsukime none the worse for wear.

So on and on it went until that one fateful day. That day, the lab was attacked by a group of assassins. She had heard the lab people whisper “The Order” before they panicked and tried to escape. It was futile.
Vincent entered her room and together they escaped. When they were outside the lab, they heard a sound and hid behind a large bush. They saw a white wolf carrying a tied bundle, his mouth holding the ties like a bag’s handle. At the sound of running feet, the wolf dropped its bundle and disappeared into the woods. A few minutes later, they saw a couple pick up the bundle and disappear.

They traveled like fugitives, afraid that the people who destroyed the lab would kill them. Having also heard of the place called HADES, they decided that it was the only choice they have. They became students of HADES and stayed there. They met many people and saw the caste system of the school. Despite that, they still watched each other’s back, and bullied someone named Lance. After the graduation, Vincent stayed and Tsukime went to find work outside.
She managed to be a librarian in the US Library of Congress. It went well for a couple of years, until she met Black Ops S.D. Heap. He took one look at her—more like a five second stare—then told her that they have to go. He said that some assassins group wanted her dead and so she must escape back into HADES.

They traveled, the journey so nostalgic to Tsukime that she almost vomited, hid under the covers of large companies, the government agent, SD’s friend, aiding them. One of the companies they had hidden in was owned by someone named Abaven Shahe. The government agent was female.

During the journey, Tsukime discovered that SD was a verifier. A very nosy verifier.

They soon arrived at HADES, but before that, they got married.

So, Tsukime was situated back in HADES as a librarian. She renewed her friendship with Professor Vincent and her bullying of Professor Lance.
