PERSONALITY:

Aiko is an overbearing and a strict perfectionist grandmother and Instructor. She has a fierce and strict composure towards her students and granddaughter and holds no hesitations in physically disciplining them. She is the worst nightmare for students with rude and disrespectful attitudes. She has a keen eye and can easily spot a mistake and flaw in everything: the kitchen, gardens, rooms, surroundings, students, etc. She is particular with how women and men (especially women) should act, walk, eat, talk and dress. She is very traditional and conservative. She abhors PDA between couples and modern youth in general. She hates everything modern from food to gadgets saying that a large number of early death occurs because of these poisons.

Even with this strict nature, Aiko is a very kind woman, something that is always seen by her husband. Though she doesn't show it, she cares for everyone's welfare that's why, she does everything in her power even if she would result to negative means just to straighten and correct their upbringing and morals.

Aiko was the usual spoiled daughter of a rich man who fell in love and was saved by Masahiro from a future of lies and pretension with a man she barely knew - an arranged marriage that her father almost tricked her into. They eloped, went to Italy and got married living a happy, contented and simple life although they were not given the chance to have a child but later were blessed with a grandchild whom they found and adopted.
