Physical Description: Quite petite, pale. Has gold eyes and a beauty mark under the left eye. Hair color blonde on the top and pink on the bottom (hairstyle: straight bangs, long hair at the front, cropped short at the back, somewhat Visual Kei-ish) has 5 peircings on left ear, and two on right. Is often wearing a biker jacket, sleeveless white top, tattered skinny jeans, platform leather boots and fingerless gloves. Has a tattoo on her left arm which says 'breath'.
Personality:
Carefree, lazy, boastful and loves free stuff (especially food), easily agitated and aggressive. Doesn't like to be told what to do, tsundere. Often straight to the point, but avoids verbal confrontation and would prefer a brawl instead. She's also very forgetful, and often looses or forgets to take/bring her meds, and is often reminded by Fallon Altair, her senior.
Jin is polite to most people, and doesn't care about opinions of people who don't matter to her. She's outgoing and friendly, but because of her appearance, people seldom think that she's approachable (though she actually is). Truth be told, Jin does not like quarrels and fights, but because she hates arrogant people (which she thinks everyone is, except for the people she respects and cares for), she often does get into fights and brawls (because of petty reasons).
She's just eighteen, but looks a lot older than she actually is, and sounds a lot older, too. And she has this knack of acting like a know it all.
History:
Formerly known as Sayoko Kotobukiya, she was dubbed “Jin” when the laboratory discovered that she had the ability to control gold.
When Jin was eight years old, she came home and found her mother and two younger sisters lying dead on a pool of blood, and her father sitting on the couch, a bullet hole on his head, with a gun still in hand. She later learned from police reports that her father came home drunk and killed her mother and siblings, and proceeded to kill himself afterwards. She was lucky enough to have survived the incident, saved because her mother sent her to buy a jar of peanut butter at the convenience store nearby.
Jin lived alone since then, she learned to do things by herself, living with the little money her parents had left, she lived on and learned to protect herself. Everything was going fine, until one day, Jin came back from school and found two men waiting outside her home. These men came for her parents, telling her that her father and mother owed them a huge sum of money, and threatened her that if she didn’t give them anything, they would kill her. Jin was devastated. Since she had nothing to give, the men decided to take away her house--- and the little light of hope she had.
Having no place to go to and roaming the city streets alone and hungry, a small spark of hope was once again ignited when a strange woman offered to feed her and take care of her, and this woman turned out to be one of the doctors of an underground research laboratory [AN: correct me if i'm wrong :) ], thus, she became one of the few genetically modified beings called Alters. Of course, life in the laboratory was not easy. Jin hated injections. She dreaded them, feared them, even. But she ignored the pain just to survive, and to eat for free.
Family: Mother and two sisters killed by her father who committed suicide.
Special Abilities: Can manipulate gold, all its properties, like volume, weight density etc. this can also appear on her skin, like dragon scales, but only a part of her body can 'grow' gold dragon like scales.
Skills/Talents: Has a beautiful voice.
