“Are you scared or what?” He chuckled mockingly, turning on his flashlight and holding it just beneath his chin for effect.
“Wha-what-? Why would I be?” The younger teen pouted, grabbing the flashlight from his companion and focused the artificial light unto the grassy floor.
“then go on. Go on, bring me something from the tower.”

Like any school, there is a rumored ghost which haunts the infamous H.A.D.E.S. academy.
Some say, it is the ghost of a malevolent snow prince, who once found and lost his beloved in the school grounds. And at present, is impatiently still waiting for her return.
Others argue that it is the spirit of a mute woman, forever silenced by the graveness of her sins, and imprisoned in the deepest of the old dungeons. And now in her death, she explores the school grounds in an act of forlorn wanderlust.
A couple of teachers and some students do think that there is no such ghost. Or they simply don’t believe in the ghost theories woven by those with restless minds during late night conversations.
The headmaster however knows that the usual empty seat usually set by the last left corner by the window is owned by a student, and not a ghost. A student who possesses what normal humans think to be as ghost-like abilities; going through walls and other more impossible objects. A student who isn’t very comfortable with people and prefers solitude.

Third Year
Verifier
She’s an anomaly in the system.
As a zygote, she was infected with a strange unearthly matter that granted her, her abilities. Which would classify her as either an accel, or an alter. But here she stands, a verifier.
It is strange, she thinks, feeling lost at that too. But now wasn’t the time for such things. Today was the first day of school for her third year over at h.a.d.e.s.. It was already morning and the stained glass window from far above greeted her with its eerie light.
She didn’t want to go. It was bothersome being cramped up with all those people…But Jin was probably already downstairs, waiting. She sat up and looked through the clock’s moving mechanical parts.
But Jin doesn’t like the abandoned amusement park where her clock tower stands. So she probably isn’t there. She plopped back down and rolled in bed, pulling the covers over herself.
Jin came over yesterday and the day before that. So why wouldn’t she be there now? Khreistr smiled to herself and kicked the covers away, hurriedly taking a quick bath and changing into clothes; A black and white vertical striped polo, whose sleeves were rolled up by the elbow, white slacks and black engineer boots.
Freshmen, say hello to the malevolent snow prince. (A/N: since khrei is flat chested, most people cant determine her exact gender xD)
Reaching into her fridge, she took out a cinnamon role and peeled off the plastic wrap after feeding her cats with fresh fish.
“Adachitoka-san. No. Sit down.” The Siamese cat with one blind eye stuck out its tongue at her and grabbed a small piece of cinnamon with his mouth. Khreister had 34 cats. And among them, only Adachitoka-san wanted her cinnamon roll. Frowning at the cat, she clipped on her belt bag, then dematerialized herself and fell through the floor unto the ground level, beside Jin, cinnamon roll still in her mouth.
Hwello Jiiii~n, mnnnngh.. waited long?
