How I met Jin! [Hot Chocolate]

Kouri: *was on the rooftop, playing with the owls while trying to prevent them from eating Kizashi's butterflies.The butterfly-owner was sitting on the ground, his back against the wall, asleep. Kouri was singing the song "TO THE SKY", off-key*

Jin: *leans on the railings, lighting a smoke*
     "Oh. Hey. Nice Bird."

Kouri: *singing so loudly that she couldn't hear anything else. Kizashi, however, coughed and mumbled, "Annoying smoke" and went back to sleep*

Jin: *rolls eyes at the boy's remark, turns back to Kouri*
     "Excuse me"
     *says this a little bit louder, chuckling*

Kouri: *stopped singing, blinked twice and turned towards the voice*
     "Hi!"

Jin: *chuckles*
     "The owls... They're all yours?"

Kouri: *shakes head*
     "The Kouri no owns the owls. The owls just follow the Kouri 'coz they like the Kouri and the Kouri loves owls especially the one names Adam."
     *grins*

Jin: Oh! You're an odd kid, hmmm? I like you.
     *chuckles before puffing her cigar*
     "I'm Jin. Kouri wasn't it?"

Kouri: *grins wider and nods several times*
     "Hai! Hai! The name's Kouri. The Jin want to be tomodachi with the Kouri?

Jin: *smiles*
     "Of course."
     *puts out her cigar*
     "It's getting quite cold here."

Kouri: *grimaced and, at the same time, a mumbled "Finally" from the sleeping Kizashi was heard*
     "It was the Kouri's fault... The Kouri forgot..."
     *walks to a far corner and shouted*
    OK NOW?!

Jin: *laughs*
     "Oh, no.... You don't have to do that. I'm fine.
     *laughs again*

Kouri: *looks serious*
     "The other several dozen frozen people don't think so.

Jin: *laughs again*
     "Oh. I'm not like other people, dear."

Kouri: *slowly steps forward*
     "The Jin likes the Kouri?"

Jin: *nod nod*
     "Yep."
     *blink blink*
     "Oh. Don't you like me, Kouri-chan?

Kouri: *nods excitedly*
     "The Kouri likes the Jin very much! The Kouri likes fr.... friendly people!

Jin: *smiles*
     "Hmmmmm..... Me too, Kouri-chan."
     *pats Kouri's head*

Kouri: *giggles as a snowy owl perched on her shoulder*
     "This  is Mitsuri."

Jin: *waves at the bird*
     "Hi, Mitsuri."

Kouri: *the bird just stared at Jin. From the corner of Kouri's eye, she saw Kizashi slide further to the floor and was soon lying flat to his back. Pointing to the figure, Kouri spoke*
     "And that's my best friend, Kizashi."

Jin: "Oh. That."
     *Rolls eyes and went back to minding the bird*
     "Mitsuri-chan~"
[A/N: Let's say Jin doesn't like Kizashi]

Kouri: *Mitsuri raised her wide wings and took to the sky*
     "The Kouri is staying with Zash."
     *from behind them, a mumbled "I hate you, too" was heard.

Jin: *glares at Kizashi, grumbling, turns back to Kouri*
     "Oh. I see. Want to have some hot choco with me, Kouri-chan?"

Kouri: *looks at Jin then Kizashi and back again and shrugs*
     "Ok."

Jin: *smiles, takes Kouri's hand and half-drags her to the cafe nearby*
     "My treat."
     *winks*

Kouri: *stumbled after Jin as the owls flew to the forest*
     "what does 'my treat' mean?"

Jin: *chuckles, walking casually*
     "Oh. It means that I'm going to pay for your food"

Kouri: *mouth formed a huge 'OH'*
     "And what is this hot chocolate?"

Jin: *chuckles as they arrive at the cafe and took a seat*
     "You're so cute."
     *Takes the menu from the waitress*
     "This is hot chocolate. It's warm liquid chocolate"
     *smiles*

Kouri: "Is it good? The Kouri only eats hard frozen chocolate."

Jin: "Oh. It's pretty good, Kouri-chan. But are you ok with warm stuff?"

Kouri: *frowns*
     "The Kouri don't melt."
     *picks up the paper cup and the hot choco froze almost instantly*
     "Oh. Well. Frozen choco good too!"
     *starts munching, cup and all*

Jin: *laughs*
     "You should've told me about that."

Kouri: *nods*
     "The Kouri always eats frozen bento, too."

Jin: "Aaw... Ypu should let your best friend feed you."

Kouri: *blinks*
     "The Kouri should? B-but the Kouri feed Zash."
>Back at the rooftop<
Kizashi: *sneezed and rolled to his stomach, bringing his book to his head and made it as a pillow, mumbling*
    "Annoying smoke, annoying dog"
