The sun was already up and the rays reaching over buildings and walls when activity finally stirred in H.A.D.E.S. where there were no signs of bustle yet in the nearby town save for the strays in the streets and alleys.
The morning call went off as it always did and in the usual time for school days, a long and clear melody of chimes that served as the wake-up cue of the dorms --- occasionally followed by the ever exuberant greeting from the Headmaster through the speakers but for today his speech was withheld for the orientation.
There were those already up and about.
Those on the verge of rising, bleary eyed and indecisive of whether to move now or get back to sleep.
And some still burrowed like glue to their beds.
For those already washed and dressed, they littered the campus in directions for whatever it is they intended before the announcement to gather in the Assembly Hall as the age-old practice of first days.
It was a new school year. And there were always things that never changed.
Animosity.
Tension.
Wariness.
It was as thick as the bread for breakfast in the cafeteria, where now a few had gathered for a morning meal. As spacious as the cafeteria was three factions had already divided in different corners in an obvious objective of avoiding the other groups.
The staff paid no mind. They were used to it.
As the security guards who scanned identification tags from those who just arrived, only stepping in when there was an inherent tiff about to occur.
Welcome to the Human Advancement and Development in Excellence Studies, otherwise known as H.A.D.E.S. to all, and Hell to the ordinary.

Rules:
Compose an entry of your character's "entrance" into the scene. You are allowed a short entry for this scenario. The order of submission will be whoever is first on the list and followed by the next to the next until the last on the list. Wait until the player ahead of you finishes their "Entrance" story before you can post your own. Leave your ending open for the above morning scenario, don't jump to lunch time or dinner for that matter. Players are given 1 week each to compose your story after player before you has posted. You can start now.
GAMEPLAY:
All students are required to go to the Assembly Hall. Choose whether you want your character to play hooky or be an obedient pupil for the first day of school. Use any of the buildings in the map. DO NOT leave the campus premises. The upperclassmen are picking on the newcomers from other class groups. The instructors are making sure that nothing beyond verbal exchanges are thrown, or skipping the orientation.
